A very Merry Christmas
We had an amazingly wonderful Christmas here. It was down to the wire, with Keith and I frantically shopping on Christmas Eve (I've never done that before), but we got it all done. We had pleasant visits with family on Christmas Eve and then on Christmas morning, we opened our presents. I got a beautiful necklace, the Muppets Christmas cd (Yes!) and a Universal Studios pass, among other things, so it was very exciting. Then it was off to Grammy and Grandpoppy's house, where there were way more presents than expected. Jack now has EVERY toy (or at least it seems that way). We had fun there and then hurried back home because Keith was cooking his first Christmas dinner for us and friends later that night.
We began cleaning and cooking and a few hours later, Stef, Jay, and Stef's Dad, Andy showed up. Jack became the main entertainment of the night and Keith's dinner was awesome. He made the full traditional Christmas dinner with turkey, stuffing, potatoes, carrots, broccoli, salad, cornbread, etc, etc, etc. We stuffed ourselves while jack ate cheerios and yogurt. Then we had dessert (made by Stef or Jason, we don't know because they both kept claiming that they had made it)... brownies and BARK (Keith's new favorite food).
Yesterday was a rainy day so we recovered from the chaos of Christmas by staying in, going outside only once to take Jack on a walk in his new car/ stroller/ buggy thing.
Today, Keith is at work. Tomorrow, I will be working and then we are both home again on Friday. We are thinking of going to Universal to break in my new pass. We have had the most fun and pleasant Christmas that I can remember. It's just a bummer that we have to wait a whole year before the next one.
Check out Keith's blog for some great pictures and a post about our trip to Leu Gardens two days before Christmas. We had somuch fun and the pictures are really cute.
